Silverback Bullhead "Brad Pitt Special" - NEW UPDATED VERSION

Homage to the original Citizen Bullhead

38mm Chronograph, modified by me in Lincolnshire from quality components.

This one was born from my desire to own an original Citizen "Red Monkey" Bullhead Chronograph, manufactured in the early seventies, and made famous by Brad Pitt in the 2019 Quentin Tarantino movie "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood". The original watches are rarely offered for sale, and are usually £800+ for a decent example - if you can find one. My version starts with a Mini Focus Bullhead watch. I strip it down, and remove the (frankly weird) branding from the dial, and replace it with my own (much more stylish!) Gorilla branding. The watch is then rebuilt, thoroughly tested, and matched with a brown leather bund / cuff strap, very similar to the one worn by Brad Pitt. The result is a pretty decent nod to the original watch, at a fraction of the cost - with the benefit of modern quartz reliability. Like all Citizen Bullheads this is a fairly small watch at 38mm, but with the addition of the large bund strap it wears like a much larger watch. Give it a go - it's a guaranteed talking point!
